If Colin Powell sent State Department emails on his laptop, why are the guns aimed at Clinton?
Obvious question, obvious answer.

(154,021 posts)and how that was a serious violation. Good.
This is not a mole hill. I know plenty of folks who would be doing decades at club fed for this.

(6,551 posts)Can you give us five or six names among the plenty? People who are actually going to do jail time for this?
It would be helpful. Not being snarky here, it would be.

And this is why this is no joke. except for partisans. The consequences are extremely serious And that report was not a nothing burger. It contradicted major points of her story. like the server was not above board, and they did not report breaches or attempted breaches, as regulations require.

(15,238 posts)If you are indicted or is suggested possible violation of the law will you withdraw your name from the Primary?
I have a twenty dollar bet on the table for lunch that Hillary would say "no" (with a Hillary supporter). This person still thinks this will all go away but still takes the bet that she has enough integrity to say "Yes" withdraw.
Surely some game member of the media will ask that question.

(15,238 posts)The bet is specific "No will not resign" for me. For my friend "Yes will resign". Hillary's prepared virtual denial of the report has me excited. One of those reporters could have asked that question today and even the non answer would have created a frenzy.
I want a free lunch!

(15,238 posts)At least today they are not issuing positive spin just the same old denial. It's coming and for me it is sport.
