Christie's angle

I have been wondering how Christie would find shelter after the storm now that he has alienated the Republican machine.

Suddenly I think Bloomberg may be his rabbi (not a religious crack- I'm a NYer and that's what we say).

I think Bloomberg is about to team up with Christie and clean Murdoch's clock. I think they may usher in a new progressive Republican Party and Bloomberg may be the only one with the weight (not a fat joke for CC) to counter Murdoch. And Christie is a perfect pit bull.

Either way, I think Christie's praise for Obama was sincere, but I do think he has a long term game plan. Christie 2016, bankrolled by Bloomberg- but Bloomberg will insist he drop 100 lbs.

Ok. Just speculating

two campaign on an Independent ticket, it might appeal to a lot of people who are unhappy with the two party system. And if we run Hillary or Joe, they might look "old school" to many. But then again, I could be totally off the mark.

but, bankrolled by Bloomberg's super PAC, will snatch the Republican party back from these jackals and clowns that are running it into the ground.

Look for Christie's gusto to be paired with conservative intellectual- I don't know of any lol but the time is ripe for a new Buckley.

But you're right that the only way he moves up into national office is by gooing to the mattresses with the Tea Party.

But I think they have this in the works already. The far right has absolutely killed the GOP in national elections, including the nutbars who cost them the Senate this time around. You think Scott Brown doesn't want to just strangle Akin and Mourdock and the rest of their kookoo crew? The moderates are going to come knives out for the conservatives. Christie already basically declared the war on. Murdoch is beside himself with very pathetic tweets, but it's going to be a fight for the Republican Party.

If Christie does run, he will have to lose at least 100 lbs. and not just for the camera; physically, he couldn't last a week on the campaign trail; I am amazed that Obama is looking as good as he does after all this frantic running around the country. I have heard a few people say they think Christie is happy being king of New Jersey, and that he doesn't really want to run for Pres. If he starts dropping weight, you'll know he's serious.
