Hillary ALREADY Voted Many Times for a Border Wall

Hillary has ALREADY voted many times to actually construct one to keep out "illegal immigrants."

Former Maryland Gov. Martin O’Malley’s campaign denounced Hillary Clinton on Monday over comments she made in a New Hampshire Town Hall that highlighted her support of a U.S.-Mexico border as a tool to deter Latin American immigrants from entering the country illegally. The comments came after O’Malley himself blasted Clinton over her immigration record on Sunday at an immigration forum in Nevada which she did attend, a fact that the former Gov. was happy to underscore. Clinton’s border wall comments came in response to a question from an audience member who asked “What you think about securing the border with some of the illegal immigrants that come in?”

I voted numerous times when I was a senator to spend money to build a barrier to try to prevent illegal immigrants from coming in,” Clinton said .

Hillary Flip Flops on Immigration (finger to the wind, as usual)

If something doesn't poll well, Hillary won't take a stand on it. She didn't want immigrants to be granted driver's licenses:

when immigrants needed her support, Clinton was always on the fence.

“It was a politically tough issue,” Elliot Spitzer told the Times. “It didn’t poll well, but there was no ambiguity about what was right. And if you look at where we are now as a nation on this very issue It’s the law of the land, I think, in California, a slew of states, and it’s not controversial because people know it’s right and it works. But at the time it was controversial. And because it was controversial she hemmed and she hawed.”

1. You DO understand ...

... that there is a difference between "barriers" at border crossing points and a "wall" between two countries?

Well, it seems apparent that you don't.

2. Not all barriers are walls but all walls are barriers.

While you are being truthful in your statement it still seems to run a bit counter to her current opinion, no?

I don't think anyone believes we shouldn't have border crossings that are "barriers" that keep certain people from entering the country.

Having known people who have worked at Customs, I do not believe in open borders. There are things people try to get over-the-border that make "barriers" necessary.

They are why there are barriers at borders. "Barriers" at border check-points have nothing to do with immigration - they have to do with keeping a certain element from entering the country even temporarily.

I'm an American living in Toronto. I have passed through the "barriers" that exist between Canada and the US hundreds of times. I had to be prepared to prove my identity, my residency, my citizenship, and to answer any relevant questions about why I was traveling to/from another country.

This is a bit of a last gasp, I think. Gather up the stuff lying around in the corners, and fling it as hard as one can!

Most every member of Congress supports enhancing border security, Hillary is not alone in this. In case you've never been to the border, it already looks like this;

and sometimes just this

There's nothing wrong with this. Many Americans support a sensible border strategy, but one that treat as those that do make it across humanely.

That is not this

The (yes, somewhat silly & exaggerated) vision Trump has of his keep-the-Mexicans-out plan, and to treat them as essentially subhuman in the process. To say that Hillary supports this, as Amborin is doing i nthe DU tonight, is Grade-A horseshit.
