Bob Iger is a lying asshole

Bob Iger, CEO of Disney, is talking smack about Bernie Sander's comments about Disney underpays its employees. Iger claims that Disney has created 11,000 new jobs in the last decade and that Sanders has no idea how a business works. Yet despite his claims:

1. Disney laid off part of its American IT and Tech workers and replaced them with HB-1 Visa workers (legal immigrants) in a cost cutting measure. Disney is currently being sued by some of these employees.

2. He asked employees to help pay for Disney's lobbying.

3. Lobbied the Florida Legislature against paid sick leave for Florida Employees

4. Short changed former employees on their severance packages when they closed down several restaurants.

5. Disney also outsources its manufacturing to places like China, where claims of worker exploitation have been surfacing from Disney factories and suppliers that produce the toys our children play with.

The fact is, Mr. Iger that your company treats their employees like shit. The average pay for a Disney cast member is under $10 an hour. One woman said she was working for Disney for 20 years and she gets paid $13.45 an hour. Last year the company took in 8.38 billion dollars net income and it can't even use some of that money to pay its employees a better wage. You're a lying asshole and I'm glad that Sanders called you out on your hypocrisy. Creating jobs is not the same as taking care of your employees. Neither is replacing your work force to make a few extra dollars.
