a horse racing expert and Leslie Sanchez is a Republican pundit, so I don't put much weight in their predictions.

None of them predicted Republicans would take the Senate.

To get to 440, Obama would need to take many states that are marked down as 'safe Republican', where Romney has a lead of 15% or more. If I take the RealClearPolitics map and give Obama all toss-ups, leans Rep and likely Rep, Obama still only has 410.
