Washington Post 48-48 Today

Surprised our President did not get a bump from his handling the floods Some do not give him a break. When stupid Bush made a slight news, polls used to go sky high.

Ungrateful people in red states are red. Well, let us win big in 2 days. Let us substitute loss of 300K votes in Northeast in other places.

It seems to stay flat, never wavering a point in any direction. Plus, this is still a bad time to be polling in the north east. Still over a million customers with out power.

Given the preponderance of the state polls being in President Obama's favor in states such as critical PA, I'm more than happy to accept a 48-48 tie in the national ABC/WP poll. Now, if Romney was ahead like he had been, then I'd be concerned.

51% approval is awesome too. I was starting to wonder if Staten Island was why he hadn't surged ahead but if his approval is still strong, that's not why.
