And NYC has not become Oklahoma. The NY Daily News has turned into the 'Red Neck Daily Register'. This endorsement is an insult to the people of NYC and the surrounding area.

The NY Daily News hired a new chief editor in January, who previous worked at News of the World (the Murdoch rag known for the phone hacking scandal) and the NY Post. So there's your explanation.

As in "Restore Our Future" the Romney "not related" super PAC blessed by Scalia (+Thomas), Kennedy, Alito and Roberts.

They all use the same Frank Luntz dictionary. "Job creators", "Our Future" etc etc etc. They all use the same code words.

They're the type of rags you skim through on the subway if someone leaves it behind.

Zuckerman was initially a supporter but has been trashing the president over the economy on the McLaughlin Group for a while now.

Is the McLaughlin group still on? I ran into McLaughlin in DC 17 years ago, and he already looked 80. A friend of mine was a regular on that show, but I don't know if she still does it, as I don't get US TV here.

Here's the latest show, with longtime regulars Eleanor Clift and Pat Buchanan, and occasional panelists Clarence Page and Zuckerman.
Clift is often the sole rational panelist but sometimes Page is on to help "explain things" to the right-wingers.

I know who McLaughlin and Buchanan are, not the other two

*on edit--I just watched the segment. Not much changed from when I saw it 20 years ago. McLaughlin is still the full-of-himself blowhard he always was, and Eleanor always gets shouted down. I was going to say that McLaughlin has gotten older since I last saw him (1995), where Eleanor hasn't, but when you see someone year after year, they don't age, do they? And Rolls-Ryan wins with 281 EV? Only if electoral fraud gives them Ohio, Florida, Virginia and some unsuspected midwestern state(s). The only way Rolls-Ryan wins Ohio is by fraud, and Husted's overt manipulation efforts are a blatant admission that the Republicans know it too. Bye Bye.

He's been trashing the President since day one. He only endorsed Obama in 2008 because it was already clear that he was winning the election and Zuckerman wanted to be able to say "I endored him" to give himself more credibility when later attacking the President.

Thinking back, I can't recall him not trashing the president. But he keeps saying he used to be a supporter, then trashes him angrily and with baseless arguments.
