It`s the canned peas, stupid.

Mitt Romney`s recent desperate attempt at making a campaign rally look like a random act of hurricane-relief kindness left me beyond disgusted. My first thought was....What would I do if I was standing in my Staten Island living room, no electricity, knee-deep in water, and a Romney "Relief Worker" handed me a can of peas? Would I try to find my floating electric can opener or just pack the peas away for a survival luncheon when the Zombies come? The fact that Romney campaign workers raced to Wal-Mart to stock up on cans of image-makers makes my blood boil. It wasn`t about the hurricane victims, it was about Romney yet again claiming to be something he isn`t and making on-the-spot adjustments for his shallow belief system. Actually, I need to apologize to you for using the words "belief system" since Romney`s actions and words are as day-to-day malleable as a Gumby Doll.

This is the same Mitt Romney who told college students to just borrow the college tuition money from their parents. The same Mitt Romney who told reporters that his sons`church work was the same service to country as...say... a soldier of the same age who came home from Afghanistan with two limbs blown off. The same Mitt Romney who says thinks the local hospital Emergency Room is an automatic and terrific health care safety net. The same Mitt Romney who talks about "love of country" while he hires people to maximize his off-shore bank accounts.

Mitt Romney is a fraud. An impostor. A trickster. An empty suit. With a little luck, after Tuesday he`ll have to return to his car elevator and push "UP" after the knockdown a majority in this country gives him.
