I posted a thread about the same thing I heard from Alex Twit quoting a tied PA poll and I was labeled a damn FREEPER TROLL, nice stay, come back tuesday bullshit like that. Some people on this board are complete tools.

that the OP does not imply that the poll in question has any veracity whatsoever, which stands in stark contrast to a certain other thread currently on Page 1 of Latest Threads:

If one does not wish to be compared to a troll, one should avoid using trite phrases such as 'is this true?' when referring to blatantly RW partisan polls.

It's the ones that have polls saying it's a dead heat or posters claiming Romney will win.

is that they don't seem to realize that supporters of President Obama (i.e., their demographic) do not need to think that the race is a toss up to tune in for the coverage on Tuesday night. We will be there, even if the election is a foregone conclusion. As a fan, I like to watch my team win in a blow out. I don't need to feel like a game is close to enjoy watching it. MSNBC of all places ought to just be honest about where things stand. I mean, give me a break.

Unless, of course, by "battleground" they mean ONLY Virginia, NC, and Fl. Then, okay, I see their point. But if they are talking about Ohio or Nevada they need to STFU about "dead heat".

Alex Twit is always in the conservative tank taking a swim. They are choosing any state they want and not an aggregate. It just makes me mad to see this on MSNBC because I like them so much.

BTW, I don't worry about what I say on DU. I am an elderly DUer, which means I am up in years and have been on DU long enough that most everyone knows my record. Relatively new posters are sometimes given a hard time. But, that is usually because we see a pattern. So, if anyone feels slighted because of something they posted, just give yourself some time for people to get to know you.

If the election is a foregone conclusion today, that means fewer viewers on Tuesday, and less future ad revenue.

When you don't know the motivation behind something, start with money.
