2016 Postmortem
Related: About this forumThis is a time for HRC's campaign to try creativity.
If you are supporting Hillary, you want her to be president. OK. This is an obvious and natural thing.
You should be open to doing the kinds of things that would do the most to help achieve that objective.
The most important of thing you could do would be to work for a merging of the best of your candidate's message with the best of your primary opponents campaign message:
That is, a program that blends a commitment to eradicating all forms of prejudice and the historic effects of facing hatred with a commitment to working for an end of corporate control of politics, the economy & life AND a recognition that the U.S. military role in the future of the world needs to be sharply limited.
Implementing a platform and a program that works for all of those things would unify the party and guarantee a solid Democratic victory at all levels in the fall. It would destroy any chance that Trump has of winning.
And it would take all the steam out of the "or bust" crowd.

(31,849 posts)Some think, having listened to her, she has been ... for a long time. And you want to be able to know when she has done so ... Look on DU for all the calls that she is pandering, lying, they do not believe her ... she's gonna move to the right and whatnot.

(34,184 posts)Yahne Ndgo said it best about not trusting what she says and not liking what she has done.
But I do think there may be a creative solution out there. I don't think the OP is actually proposing a creative enough solution.
I don't have a better one though.
