They're smart - know odds O will win are higher than market price - so risk of loss is low; gets funds to clients to make other commission-generating bets; lots of publicity.

Savvy. Makes me want to invest in Paddy Power

because it gets them publicity. They did it in 2010 for the UK election 3 days early. They did it (more stupidly) when Tiger Woods was leading by 4 strokes at the halfway stage in the 2009 PGA championship - and he then didn't win. The paid out on Sebastian Vettel winning the Formula 1 world championship last year, when it was only a third of the way through (he did).

Believe me, they would not do this if they weren't certain it was a nailed-on victory for Obama. I'm sure they will have had inside info and they will know which way the wind is blowing. Bookies do not give money away unless they know the full story.

I don't know you and you do seem a tad nutty (I mean that with all due respect as I am a whole lot of nutty), but you will simply not back down and you've stuck to this narrative loyally. And you know what, if you're right (and I think you are), you should take up betting (if you haven't already).

Nothing wrong with being nutty in a nutty world.

You're right. I will not back down on this proclamation.
I have made my bet...
...against the Republican Party.

I see the end for them in this election.
Couldn't see it before this year.
But I see it so clearly now.
It's over for them.

This is the chance to reverse what Nixon, Reagan, Bush, & Bush Jr. have done to this country.
Obama is bringing CHANGE just like he said.
And that CHANGE will take us FORWARD.

Progress = Forward.
