Related: About this forumElizabeth Warren To Endorse Hillary Clinton After The Democratic Primary Ends
Sen. Elizabeth Warrens advisers are in communication with the Hillary Clinton campaign, and it is likely that Warren will endorse Clinton at some point after the Democratic primaries end.
The Washington Post reported:
Perhaps the biggest sign that a new effort is underway among liberals to begin healing fissures within the party comes from Sen. Elizabeth Warren (D-Mass.), the heroine of the left. Although Warren still has not endorsed Clinton and remains the lone Democratic woman in the Senate not to do so she has stepped up her attacks on Trump, and her advisers have begun communicating regularly with the Clinton campaign.
We are in regular contact with her team and are very excited about the prominent role she has taken in defining whats at stake in the election, said Clinton spokesman Brian Fallon. Both sides continued to insist that there is no formal coordination and most likely, no endorsement by Warren until after the last round of primaries.

It's not integrity at work when you go to bat for Lieberman over Lamont. Maybe its' friendship, maybe it's having your fellow longtime colleague's back, but her judgement on such issues is not magnetic north.

I think that if we can take back the Congress then we can get some good legislation through, like a minimum wage increase and day care tax credits. Even if we just take back the Senate we can get some terrific justices confirmed who will uphold Roe vs. Wade and overturn Citizens United.

"It's because of our differences when I endorsed Obama," Richardson said. "The differences haven't healed, and I'm not in the suck-up camp."

Former New Mexico Gov. Bill Richardson Endorses Hillary Clinton for President
By Benjamin Bell Aug 23, 2015
"I have spoken to President and Secretary Clinton and we have patched up our disagreement from the 2008 election, the statement read. "I am pleased to announce I wholeheartedly support Secretary Clinton's candidacy for the Presidency. Her leadership on issues like foreign policy, immigration, climate change and economic populism are important to the future of the country."
In the ABC video, Richardson refers to the post 2008 era are "seven years of hostility."
One of my favorite parts of the ABC news video was when Richardson explains why he thinks HRC is worthy of his endorsement and someone says "I'm glad you think so, Bill, because the Clintons have a long memory and I thought if Hillary ever became President you were going to have to self-deport."
I still don't understand what you are trying to say about Richardson. Do you have a different news report to make?

(11,945 posts)The better the voters know Bernie, the better they like him.
Hill had the corrupt MSM and the corrupt DNC safely in her pocket -- as well as 33 bought-off states.
Bernie had no name, no MSM publicity, no money, nothing but the truth.
In one year, he went from 60 points behind to a dead heat. The early Southern states didn't know who Bernie was and were under illusions about the Clintons, and that's where she got most of her ill-gotten lead (which you trumpet and brag about). The rest was from states with questionable primaries, election "irregularities." Something to be so proud of, hm?
And that's what YOU are supporting, Beacool. THAT.
And now it's beginning to look like your candidate might just get what she deserves ... so try to keep it under wraps ...

the Elizabeth Warren endorsement of Clinton will be a good diagnostic for discerning the various pro-Bernie factions.
GRhodes
(162 posts)The article simply says they are in contact...well duh. It also wouldn't be a surprise that she endorsed the party's nominee after the freaking convention. She has given outward support to what Sanders was doing and the issues he was addressing this election cycle and when asked months ago whether she would endorse Clinton, she essentially said that she wanted to see what Clinton would offer. I would have liked for her to endorse Sanders, it would have helped him, but this is simply her endorsing her party's nominee after the convention. Okay, great. You think there aren't lots of Republicans that despise Trump that won't do the same for their party's nominee? Think they won't, despite their reservations, try to help him versus Clinton?

(8,175 posts)I would not be surprised if Warren endorses her.
But if somehow Hillary loses her large lead and the race is tight at the end, she may decide not to.
I guess we need to wait and see. It's kind of silly to say she will endorse Hillary based on just this op-ed.

(50,130 posts)I don't believe it.
HRC also said today that Bernie people are coordinating with her campaign about how to heal the party and bring people together and that "Bernie needs to provide some leadership" in that area.
This is bogus stuff.
Simply lying to try to smooth the waves of fear in her supporters.
