There's no constitutional recourse, should it be proven that the wrong guy “won.”

Reposting this here, since I had zero replies on GD. Doesn't this issue need to be addressed sooner than later?

This, from an article on the "interesting" results of the 2004 election, particularly in Ohio. If I understand (and I am no Constitutional scholar), even if Husted and Scott blatantly ignore the law and a RMoney "win" is the result, the most that could result (but likely wouldn't) would be legal action against them by the DOJ. The election would stand.

This has to rank as at least as important an issue as recalling or indicting these two and their cohorts, because voter suppression and election theft seems to have become part of the repug DNA and there will always be more of these clowns ready to carry on the criminality.

I realize the PTB would pitch a fit, but has anyone taken on the effort to correct this situation?

Knowing they can blatantly defy the law with no consequences for the election results means our democracy is worthless.

An rmoney 'win' is not inevitable, if the right laws are ignored. Likely no 'constititutional' issues.

TOO many unknowns in your proposition for a better explanation.
