I got chastized a few days ago

For saying Florida voting is like a third world country regarding voting. I waited 3 hours to early vote. Someone told me to just bring a lawn chair.

Standing isn't my problem. Voter suppression is my problem.

Fascinating to hear what she is gathering from her information source. Not only does early voting lead to voter fraud, but she says voting machines are rigged and votes can be flipped. I agreed with her, but didn't say who is in control of these machines in Ohio and Florida. I'm hoping to find some middle of the road source to send to her after this is all over. As it was I brought up China - "Imagine how you'd get 1,344,000,000 people to the polls." Early voting would be only the first step.

We sit in CA and watch the madness. I early voted Saturday without having to get out of my car. It was a drive through. The trick is to get that "vote by mail" ballot and drop it off at the Registrar's office. I think I've got it figured out. Florida should be able to as well.

Until Palm Beach County election board announced they misprinted 27,000 absentee ballots and needed to manually enter them into a system.

Voter suppression on Ohio and Florida have voters standing in line for up to 10hours.
I think it was Dade County, FL that locked it's doors when they saw the long line of people.

Why aren't the Republicans prosecuted for suppressing the vote?

In third world countries that have free elections more people participate, and gov'ts go to great lengths to make sure the votes are counted fully & fairly.

There are places where voting is just as bad as the GOP wants to make it - but we don't call those places "free", and we don't call them democracies.

Hi All
I live in Washington state. We are a liberal state and I was really surprised watching the local Seattle news this evening warning of people knocking on doors and asking for completed ballots so they could hand deliver them. The news station warned people to never give their ballots to anyone. To mail in or use the ballot drop boxes.
