that Republicans have been very slow to warm up to early voting, they hate change that much. They prefer to stand in line on election day like all "real" Americans should.

The only question will be how many of them will actually be motivated to do so. They dislike Romney intensely. They have a blind and unreasoning hatred of all Democrats, especially Obama. It's a hard call as to which devil will win out.

Who knows how it will work out this year, but we have to remember that North Carolina wasn't even a winnable state until 2008. Not even Bill Clinton won it.

So the fact that it's close for the 2nd election in a row is still a big accomplishment.

Even if it doesn't go Obama again in 2012, the campaign workers in NC will have nothing to be ashamed of.

This info is from a ppp poll. Romney leads by 0.2 points (if you call that a lead).

On Obama side.Because they have registered a lot of brand new voters that might not show up in there polling plus this PPP polling is a little off on my opinion from the post on the number of tallied early votes I don't believe Romney will get 58 percent out on Election Day the rethugs spent a lot of time getting there voters out early plus I know PPP is good but I think there over sampling the republicans getting out on election day

He is behind among those who already voted. But is leading among those who plan to vote.

"over 62.7% of the likely vote in North Carolina is now already in. That means that Dems are running just a tad ahead of their ’08 advantage in early voting."
