I like that article. It shows how poorly Gallup and Rasmussen performed.

Back to yougov. I just have a problem with any non random sample and intuitively I think it misses a lot of down scale voters. I just dont' see the Wendy the Waitress or Billy The Barber, responding to e-mails, and voting on his or her internet.

Who knows?

I could be all wet on this...

demographics. They have a good track record in the UK as well, I think they are a British company.

Don't forget that more people then ever use the internet.

My Mom is 65 and goes on more then me and I am addicted right now! Between taking care of my 7 and 8 year old daughters and being as sub teacher I spend tons of time on the internet. I really need to cut back after the election (and when Obama hopefully wins).

Most of their state polls over the past few weeks have also been pretty fair. They have Obama ahead in most of the swing states, but not all.

Can't complain about their objectivity.

Unfortunately they won't get anywhere near as much attention as Rasmussen because he's much more famous and everyone on Twitter is talking about how he was the 'most accurate in 2008' etc.
