Obama dives into the crowd.

I'm watching c-span coverage of President Obama's final campaign speech in Iowa. At the end of it he couldn't wait to get into the crowd. He really likes greeting the folks.

By contrast I've seen Rmoney try to do the same thing but the contrast is stark. Mitt will put out his hand but pull back his body. The body-language is telling.

The President is going to miss his campaigning. He honestly looks like he enjoys it.

4. He really is in his element on the campaign trail. Looking forward, I think he & Bill Clinton....

will be the most competent pair of surrogates the Democratic party ever had. The Repubs will never match the enthusiasm for these two. Oh, and let us not forget Michelle. She rocks!

4 years from now, I'll miss him. He is going to be hard to top in the next election. I hope someone comes along in 4 years that could take my mind off of who we will be losing.

But yeah. He is bone tired, but fired up and still going.

Sorry for the tease (if you'll pardon the expression). I did notice that the Prez is surrounded by a lot of big guys who don't ever smile.
