Macy's courts racist birther customers with new advertising campaign

Pretty sad what they think passes for a beloved pop culture figure these days...

In the commercials, after Kris Kringle arrives at Macy’s, he is depicted interacting with the Macy’s stars. Mr. Bieber seems to put an arm around him and ask, “Kris, can you please take me off the naughty list?” Ms. Stewart complains that he “didn’t give me that pony I asked for last year.”

In the most clever twist, the role of the skeptic played by Wood in the movie is assumed by Mr. Trump, who has gained notoriety in recent months for voicing skepticism about President Obama’s birth certificate and college transcript. Mr. Trump is “always the one who delivers the one-liners” in Macy’s commercials, Ms. Reardon said.

For example, Mr. Trump asks Gwenn, “What’s with the get-up, Kris?” to which Gwenn replies, “I’m Santa Claus.” Mr. Trump says, “Let me see for myself” and pulls his beard, to which Gwenn responds, “Ouch!”

The commercials end with Gwenn saying to Mr. Trump, “If I can win you over, there’s still hope.”

thing. He should stay out of the woods during hunting season. He could be mistaken for some rare bird doing a courtship dance. Or maybe even just a squirrel with it's tail fluttering about. Either way, stay clear of the woods. And perhaps, Mr. Trump you should start accepting who you really are and take that critter off of your head.
