News from Ohio.

We are observing polling stations for the Obama campaign today. Here is a quick update. At 6:30 AM the parking lots were packed! Both polls opened promptly and people seemed to move through quickly. No signs of illegal posted material or extraneous 'greeter' to be found. Will head back there at 11:00 to report voter numbers.

It is a Knock out gorgeous day here so I am sure that turnout will be through the roof!

Stop by your local Obama office if you have time. Who knows maybe there will be an odd job that needs done!

In Columbus. It was realitively dead. I waited about 10 minutes at 8am. The poll worker said though, that it was packed and crazy at 6:30, that their was a line outside 45 minutes before. They were surprise they only got 5 voting machine as they expected to get 6.

There was nothing weird or admiss as my vote went through as cast, both electronically and on the paper back up.( everyone in Ohio voting on these machines need to take the time and verify that the paper roll on the bottom left is recording your vote correctly.)

One annoyance, they made me take my ID out of my wallet sleeve and took a bit too long verifying, I mean come on man! Obviously, they have been told to make that a point of interest today.
