I just saw Todd Akin on my teevee, and his hair has turned very white since August.

There are no Romney signs of support anywhere. There are several Obama bunker stickers in the parking lot, though.

I grew up in a rural Southern Missouri town (damn near Arkansas). It is as Republican and conservative as you get - most local town and county races the Republlicans run unopposed. The big cities in MO (Kansas City and St. Louis) are more Democrat and that's the only thing that keeps the State of Missouri from actually moving backward in time.

I also noticed the extremely low voter turnout this morning compared to every other time I've voted here.

VERY light turnout so far according to friends who have voted. I'll be going out at noon and will be interested to see turnout #s then. Hope this means the conservatives aren't inspired enough to go out and vote for Romney or Akin.
