former co-workers, and ... not some of my family, but the ONLY reason I don't loathe some of the more outspoken Repubs. in my family is BECAUSE they are family.

I have what I call my 'bulldozer list' - i.e., if I was driving a bulldozer, and Palin, or Rick Perry, or Anne Coulter, or Rush, or Cheney, or ... a long list ... were to walk in front of me, well, I might accidentally hit the gas instead of the brakes.

self claimed moral authority that they feel they have over (let's be blunt about it) non whites.

I dislike their political manifesto, but I respect their right to it, but I CANNOT and WILL NOT accept their vile UNAMERICAN tactics.

that's good... but it just happened. They don't just hate the lower class - they hate environmentalists (of which I'm a VERY strong one - isn't it bizarre to hate people that give a shit?), gays, lesbians, liberals, on and on.

You can feel the vibes! Seriously.

The can't stand ANYONE who isn't just like they are, and you can sense it. That's one of their traits that really irks me. I don't want to live in a world where people are all the same - think the same, act the same, care about the same things, etc.

I want to live in a world where being individual is celebrated and encouraged - no matter what that individuality may be. Whether it be religious choice, sexual orientation, talent driven (i.e., being an artist, etc.) or what. Each person should be able to live his/her life as they see fit. I do not like the Republican agenda to make us all little clones of what they believe people should be.

I wanted to slap the yuppie smirk off of his face.

Somewhere along the way, they siezed the notion that cheating and fraud was okay. That's what tipped the scales against them for me. Although they don't all participate in criminal behavior during elections, they give tacit support with their silence. They know their party cheats and that their candidates lie, but yet they still support them. That indicates to me that they aren't honest themselves.

I never really disliked them so much until that 2000 election. And then the fact that a lady friend of mine married an ignorant R who was so glad that Clinton lost in the primary. I told him Obama was going to beat McCain but he thought no way. Now I truly do not like them -- and that is putting it mildly.
