Keep in mind, no one's going to post about the polling sites running smoothly.

You will only see the problems posted about.

I'm NOT saying we should ignore the problems, but I am saying make sure you realize hardly anyone rushes to post about how wonderfully smooth their voting experience was, or how they are reading that things are going well in this place or that.

for the few people voting obama. they are not concerned.

what is an issue is the swing states in the heavy dem areas having issue, so consistently. tells you it is not about simple error but about suppression and theft of vote.

I early voted last week in Dallas, it was smooth as silk, just a few people in line at the Martin Weiss Center in Oak Cliff, no waiting. Wish my vote for the Pres. counted for more, but this is the red state of Texas. Dallas is gradually going Dem with the suburbs still conservative republican. But changes are coming to the Lone Star State, We have some real political rock stars coming up through the ranks of the Texas Dem party and the old white tea party crowd will soon die off. Can't wait for Texas to turn Blue!

And I remember all these stories in '08 too. If there's something worth worrying about, I'm sure Obama will be on top of it.

I had to take some people to the polls today. Philadelphia, African-American districts. I was at two. This was in the middle of the morning. No lines, doing brisk business, everyone having a good time. The person I took to vote was listed as "inactive." I was armed with every kind of ID known to man except a passport, which she doesn't have. They didn't ask for ID, she voted, we left. It was kind of nice to be at all Democratic all the time districts, because my own has always been all Republican all the time and I'm probably the one person who votes Democratic. Ok, maybe one of ten in my district. I'm sure there are some closet Dems in my area.
