No Line at My Polling Place in Mississippi -- The Mormon thing?

I went to vote today and for the first time since I started voting, there was no line. I was able to walk in, write down my name, and go to one of multiple empty booths to vote. In the past, I've had to wait for 5-10 minutes.

Mormon effect?

MI will turn out. Never underestimate crackers. They'll turn out in droves to vote for a mormon over a black guy.

6. I'm white, from the south, and a huge Obama supporter. Please don't use that word.

8. There weren't many white people at my polling place in Biloxi.

In fact, I'm pretty sure that the guy ahead of me and I were the only white people. There were 3 areas voting at my place. One area is majority white, another area is about half white and half black, and my area has a large black majority with about 25% Asian and a few whites. The white area had only a couple of black people voting, the 50/50 area had a few black people and no whites, and then there was a long line of voters in my area with, as I said, me and one other guy the only white people. I think the white voter turnout is going to be a lot less than that of the black voters. I have seen only a couple of Romney signs and virtually no enthusiasm for him.

wanting to vote for a mormon. No one has really discussed this openly, but I do think there will be low numbers
out of these red states.

It's always easier to vote in Republican areas.
