Benton county, Arkansas out of paper ballots due to high turnout

Although I just posted about my good experience in central AR, it sounds like there is trouble in the town that is home to Wal-Mart.

snip
BENTONVILLE (40/29 News) - Benton County election commissioners confirm to our ABC station in Northwest Arkansas that more than 50 precincts are without paper ballots and voters are only able to cast their vote electronically.

snip
Many callers have said people are walking away from polling sites because the lines to vote are very long.

You have x number of registered voters, you should print x number of ballots plus a 25 percent buffer for provisionals. It doesn't take a genius to figure that math out.

...oh man...

Let's hope the local poll folks are stupid enough to try any shenanigans with those machines.

I say, these machines need to be banned nationwide.
