Federal judge denies lawsuit over last-minute Ohio voting software patch.

http://www.10tv.com/content/stories/2012/11/06/ohio-warns-voting-lawsuit-could-cause-confusion.html

COLUMBUS, Ohio - A judge has denied a lawsuit claiming that software the state of Ohio uses to speed vote counting could make equipment vulnerable to having ballots altered.

The federal lawsuit alleged that software used in 25 Ohio counties could allow vote manipulation by non-election board officials.

The lawsuit was leveled against Ohio's elections chief Jon Husted and Omaha, Neb.-based Election Systems and Software which created the software installed by the state.

but as a highspeed interface with the SOS's election result reporting system.

I find the whole thing repugnant and Daily Kos's Sunday blog about Kasich stating emphatically that "WE will win Ohio" - with the emphasis on the 'we' meaning that these two have got this thing in the bag for their boy.

Wonder if KKKarl Rove will have to call up his favorite blackops cleaning crew to sweep away any clues like he did with Michael Connell the last guy to man the middle to "win Ohio" for their guy.

What did it do, why so late and why no transparency?

No testing, nothing.

it would be too simple to cover up after the election. We have a phantom of a problem with this. It would take someone from the inside to blow the whistle.

I'm in Ohio. I'm not worried about it. Fitrakis is all exaggerated claims all day long so far. I'm tempted to just call it self promotion.
