(658 posts)Romney is not going to win. He knows it and his campaign knows it. They are broadcasting it as reality eventually sets in. Also, it's a matter of math (well, that and Obama deserves to win for millions of reasons, while Romney needs to be put out to pasture).
Here is Sam Wang's final prediction: http://election.princeton.edu/2012/11/06/presidential-prediction-2012-final/
I really like him and, personally, I hope he is the one who is the closest to calling it in terms of EVs. He deserves more attention. I do NOT want to see him eat a big bug - and I'm confident he won't have to.

(11,605 posts)For some reason I have a bad feeling, after feeling confident for the past week. Not sure what this is based on, other than a cab driver (in NYC) who seemed to buy all the shit about Benghazi that's been spewed on right wing radio. The cabbie was no fan of Republicans...he said they are only for the rich. But the fact that he believed the Benghazi crap is making me nervous.
Don't mind me, though. I am just on edge. I got panicky during Election Day in 2008 too.

(658 posts)...to be nervous. I am for sure and won't be happy until it is over and Romney concedes. That is going to happen, we just have to wait out the clock.

(1,301 posts)I know it pained him to have to admit the President's team is that
confident in winning..he said he had not heard that but one other
time and that was when President Clinton won.
