hawaii photo ID = poll tax

just voted, photo ID required. not just any old pic but an official document with a pic. and that official document costs money to obtain. thus it is a requirement to have money to obtain that document in order to vote. no money spent for the document = no vote.

that is a defacto poll tax

The requirements are not new, not put in place right before an election, and don't really cost that much. I'm glad we don't have long lines and our poll workers have ALOHA . Go Mazie! : )
