All through that his poll numbers went up. The GOPee has largely left him alone since then.
Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton has been stalked by the GOPee since she first stood next to Bill in his first run. That was in 1992. That was 34 years ago. Over that span the GOPee has not relented one bit. They have thrown every imaginable charge at her. They have worked over time, double time, and triple time to impugn her in any and every way possible. The allegations grew more and more outrageous. And yet, there she is. Still standing.
Now we hear how flawed and disliked she is. Is there any mystery as to why. When you throw shit at a brick wall, even if most of it falls to the ground, some inevitably sticks. And 34 years of residue is a significant amount. So, while scarred and battle weary, there she is. Still standing.
I know many here have reservations, if not antipathy toward her, but she's tough and she's ready. For those with reservations, think about why. Think about facts, not smeared residue.
edit: 34 should read 24. The lesson is don't do math at 1.30 am when you should be sound asleep.

(51,129 posts)To the media I say give me the facts, like a poll question and the results. I can interpret for myself. Don't tell me how to think by saying this is how everyone else thinks. That may be clever enough to lead Republicans around like chattel, but we are Dems.
No surprise the people behind the Arkansas project and other dirty tricksters are working with Trump.
You can side with Hillary or you can side with the likes of these asshats.[center]

(11,014 posts)She had a great positive/negative ratio before the primaries started. Then the internecine battle drove her negatives up.
As the primaries have ended and a majority of progressives and democrats come back into the tent, her negatives would go down.
