Are they trying to get people to stop voting? naviman Nov 2012 #7
If so, I think they're out of luck. I don't think Democrats are in a mindframe to fall for tricks. TPaine7 Nov 2012 #19

because of early voting in Ohio. Obama had banked enough votes where they couldn't do anything. PA, even if the poll numbers were the same or worse, they still had a chance to do something because the people hadn't early voted.

The Ohio vote was probably more fixed because Obama hammered Romney over the summer. PA voters may have been more flippable, even if that was always going to be a longshot.

If I were in line and KNEW that Romney had won, I'd stay just to send a message about voter suppression (I'm black).

The good thing is if their polling said 5 points, it might be more. Wouldn't it be great if it Romney lost Ohio by 10 points!

Why would the Romney campaign release this before the polls have closed ?

Doesn't it risk depressing their voters?

Or is it too late for it to matter at this point?

And the Toledo Blade has just killed Mittens for the auto lies (Jeep moving to China). I think that that lie may have been his single biggest downfall.

his internal polls showed him losing before that, and his gamble was to go that route because he somehow had to undo the Obama success of the auto bailout. It was a gamble, and it failed.

Ironically, what ultimately decides this election, after all the politicking, all the spin, and all the bullshit is that Obama is actually really good at his job, and he saved the auto industry because it was good for the country.
