Trump is more focussed and more unpredictable, and therefore more dangerous.

They're both terrible, but Palin at least is easy on the eyes, and it's easy to laugh at her. There's nothing funny about Trump.

Neither is as downright threatening to liberty as Ted Cruz or as insidious as Marco Rubio or John Kasich.

Trump is what he advertises straight out with no reservations. If Trump were to win the Presidency those who voted for him will get what they deserve. Trump would be either impeached or become the victim of a coup. Cruz, Rubio, Kasich and Romney hide behind the excesses of Donald Trump but are disasters of equal magnitude to Trump. Palin's problems are most likely chemical in nature.
