Today I'm thankful for our kind, humane, thoughtful Democrats. They are working so hard for us.

Watching/listening to Bernie and Hillary talking about things that are detailed and intelligent and geared toward helping us solve the problems that will be catastrophic if not addressed in a personal, kind, hopeful but purposeful way, and seeing President Obama address the service for the officers who were killed trying to do the work we need them to do makes me deeply emotional. We truly are the party of hope for this weary country, and I have no bigger aspiration than to try to help all of them, and the people they are inspiring today,move us toward a future that raises us all up by giving us enough, and not telling us we have to climb over one another to get what we need.

I really care about us all, even people who think I'm the enemy, and I believe they do too.
