Related: About this forumHow about a thank you thread for Elizabeth Warren?
Her enthusiasm to get Hillary elected is unparalleled...well, except for maybe PBO.
Thank you Senator Warren for all your hard work on this campaign!

(10,345 posts)To a Bernicrat like myself, she's become an enigma.
She said a lot of things that aligned perfectly with Bernie, then went and did something else. And it just makes it kind of hard to trust her now.
Give it time I guess. Despite history though, I would like her as Hillary's VP.

(58,785 posts)Warren is both a strong progressive committed to socioeconomic reform
AND
1. A senator who has one of the most conservative voting records in the Senate Democratic caucus.
2. A former Republican until her party went batshit crazy and she switched parites in the 1990s.
There's a lesson here about where fight for progressive government actions will come from. We have a lot of support from those like her who are already part of what makes us "us," and there is even more potential support from many who are like her but haven't taken that giant leap yet.
So maybe grab every opportunity to smile at "vulnerable" Republicans and agree that you all really just want the same things in the end.

And before any bashing, let me just add that she's my Senator, and, we worked our butts off to get her there.
