Alan Colmes reminds me of the face at the bottom of a pro wrestling card who always lost

Wrestling has changed a lot... When I was a kid there were wrestlers that always lost and were always at the bottom of the card. That's who FOX liberal, Alan Colmes, reminds me of.

It was entertaining to hear callers from all over the political spectrum constantly heaping abuse on him, with him just sort of weakly responding in his trademark pathetic way.

"The Sean Hannity and unnamed liberal Project".

The Colmes solo TV show on weekends with Laura Ingraham and Monica Crowley screaming at him on either side of him was another great FOX liberal show.

He ended up getting Howard Stern's time spot on WNBC-AM radio in the late 80's before it became WFAN. He was sort of a lame version of Howie's show, but I remember someone used to call every day and tell him "You suck, Alan" for about three minutes and he'd let it go on.

The only WWF wrestlers I saw live in the south were Pedro Morales and Andre The Giant.

I grew up a WWF fan, but the Mulkeys were usually getting tossed around by Tully Blanchard or The Midnight Express in opening matches.

Hogan, Junkyard Dog and The British Bulldogs were my guys when I first watched.

We didn't get cable until 1987 and then we started watching Crockett Promotions right around the time it became WCW.

I listen to his show when I can't sleep. He definitely has a different style, but he can be pretty clever and biting.

18. Alan Colmes Loses Argument With Nephew
Mon Jul 18, 2016, 03:22 PM
Jul 2016
NEW YORK—Alan Colmes, the liberal co-host of the Fox News debate program Hannity & Colmes, lost an argument to his nephew Bryan while babysitting the 8-year-old Monday. "I wanted to stay up late to watch television, but Uncle Alan said, 'There's already too much self-parenting in America,'" Bryan said. "So I started screaming, 'Mom lets me, Mom lets me,' real loud. He gave in after, like, 20 seconds." In the past two years, Bryan has won arguments with Colmes on the subjects of Pokémon cards, Crunch Berries cereal, and steel tariffs.

the trend is right-leaning under the guise of non-partisan discussion: Both parties are equally bad. Both parties have valid points. Both parties need to compromise more. The people are tired of candidates from both parties. Clinton and Trump are equally disliked.

Most often stated as fact: safety net programs are entitlements that need to be cut to stave off economic disaster.
