I managed to flub every language class I was ever forced to take and I'm not proud of that. If my eventual MA/PhD course 20 years later hadn't eliminated the requirement for written fluency in two languages, I never would have been able to do it.

I may not like Melania or believe a word she says, and I think she has terrible taste in men, but I will never criticize her public speaking abilities.

The speech was very scripted in my opinion, and I felt she was doing as she was told, reading the speech, and looking beautiful. That's not classy behavior to me.

My opinion was actually formed PRIOR TO learning of the words having been taken from Michelle Obama's speech.

Now, Melania owes Michelle an apology. THAT would be class.

Melania tried to take credit for the speech with Matt Laurer before it was given, and in her rush to take credit where non was earned, she tainted herself. She has learned a few things from Trump, it appears.

I will admit she was posed, and pretty, and got her nerves under control to deliver the speech that was partially plagiarized.

ps.. Not only did she take credit for writing the speech, but she got lots of compliments for using the words of Michelle Obama. Both Trumps are being called out for plagiarizing the words of the wife of the one person in the world that Donald hates almost more than Hillary. Isn't that ironically delicious?
