Plagiarism aside, that was also not a compelling speech from a spouse

Melania Trump didn't even seem to believe most of what she was saying. It almost seemed like even she doesn't particularly care for her husband all that much and was simply phoning it in. It lacked a depth of caring and warmth that a candidate's spouse usually delivers when they give their convention speech.

or for English not being her native language - but what was missing was anything really personal about her relationship with her spouse. There weren't any anecdotes about kids, or things they do together, or how they met - any of that warm fuzzy stuff people say when they want to express affection for someone. I'm guessing this marriage was a business deal, like everything else Trump does. He gets a hot trophy wife; she gets a life of luxury.

"Your word is your bond"??? What we know about Trump's business dealings, that is pure fiction.
