The US Spreme Court annoited Bush Jr, not the American people. Republicans routinely gerrymander districts to preserve their districts. Republicans routinely pass legislation that exists for the sole purpose of denying peple the right to vote.

That is a preposterous statement.

This is an actor yelling lines from a teleprompter that he neither wrote nor believes.

He has no interest in governing the United States. He just wants to win. To beat everyone. To be loved. To build his brand.

The fact that anyone supports him speaks to the fear and ignorance plaguing this country and much of the world.

A great progressive western city, like Denver or Portland.

I also heard--and maybe this is wrong--that there are a couple cities on the edge of the Wasatch Mountains, Holladay and Cottonwood Heights, that are more liberal. And Summit County (the Park City area) is supposed to be progressive.

But the rest of the state is definitely hard-core Republican. I imagine it is difficult being a liberal Democrat out there, especially given how aggressive Republicans become when they are in the overwhelming majority.

If it is OK, can I ask which part of Utah you live in?

but this might be a good reference.

-snip-

With the GOP front-runner scooping up delegates in a march toward the Republican nomination, POLITICO subjected a week’s worth of his words to our magazine’s fact-checking process. We chronicled 4.6 hours of stump speeches and press conferences, from a rally in Concord, N.C., on Monday to a rally on Friday in St. Louis.

The result: more than five dozen statements deemed mischaracterizations, exaggerations, or simply false – the kind of stuff that would have been stripped from one of our stories, or made the whole thing worthy of the spike. It equates to roughly one misstatement every five minutes on average.

Everything about the speech was deeply disturbing and sent a chill down my spine. The tone, the content, Trumps mannerisms, the distant look of apathy on his 10 year olds child who didn't even break a smile ONCE with thousands of balloons falling around him. It was an incredibly dark speech/ moment. Trump cannot get close to the white house.
