(34,136 posts)Pro-choice, pro-universal health care, how nice Hillary Clinton is, etc. There is one Rand Paul commercial on YouTube with many of those quotes but I saw another that is by a pro-Clinton PAC I think. I just can't find it now.
For many Trump followers that would certainly stop them in their tracks.

(811 posts)He paid for the ad, and make it about himself. That is not a smear, but seeing the objective truth.
The ad started well, but was loaded with an ulterior motive of raising the political profile of a wealthy hedge-fund manager.
It strikes me as a very self-serving commercial that is diminished from its potential to be an effective ad against Trump by the insertion of the guy paying for it into the mix. Seems like opportunism.

(9,350 posts)I like the ad, but I think it could have been better. It would have been more effective to use some of Trumps other quotes about women in general. I think those quotes are mainly about Rosie O' Donnell. Trump and his supporters can say, even though Trump was at least a little wrong to say those things about Ms. O' Donnell, he only says those things about her and she brought it on herself by insulting Donald Trump. Presenting more quotes in which he insults women in general would prevent Trump and his supporters from claiming those are things that he says about one woman, not all women.

(9,350 posts)There should have been more comments that show Trump talking about women in general instead of him insulting Rosie O' Donnell.

(34,458 posts)with women, who will "get" that they reflect an underlying hatred of women especially if they have run into that themselves, which many of us have. People who don't hate women but have a dispute with a particular woman, find a way of describing what their dispute is all about without attacking the woman on the basis of her gender or physical characteristics.

(5,106 posts)Two women could not be more different in all respects than O'Donnell and Kelly, yet the Donald has managed to show his contempt for both in very immature ways. Presidential material for sure!

(16,986 posts)...and various ads are going out. That doesn't mean every ad is going to be a variation on this theme, but Trump's ugly comments and behavior have already been used against him in multiple spots.

The main super PAC supporting Hillary Clinton on Tuesday released its first general election ads targeting presumptive GOP nominee Donald Trump.
The two spots from Priorities USA Action highlight the brash businessmans controversial history with women by featuring numerous physical observations he has made about his daughter, models, rivals and cable news hosts such as Fox News Megyn Kelly. They are slated to run under a $6 million ad buy for the next three weeks in the battleground states of Ohio, Florida, Virginia and Nevada.
One of the ads, titled Speak, brutally shows women lip-syncing some of Trumps greatest hits. (Its quite similar to an ad released earlier this year by a Republican PAC opposed to Trump.) It closes with the question, Does Donald Trump really speak for you?
