(22,877 posts)to be honest.. because as much as I love E.Warren.. we would have lost a very powerful voice to the backwaters of the executive branch and that would not have been good..

There are, however, people who believe that Hillary can do no right, so no matter who her choice was, it still would have been cause for grave concern.

(11,631 posts)I knew it was probably a bit selfish. If Kaine can just deliver Virginia and not take any dems out of the Senate (which was the drawback with Brown), then her map looks pretty damn good unless Trump can flip the whole rust belt.
