This isn't a sure thing, and we should be prepared for a tough fight. Trump cannot be allowed to win.

There is no election "right now" to be close.

All Silver's models do is make a (hopefully) good guess at the risk of certain outcomes. They do not tell us who is winning or losing.

It's the standard line all the time and it keeps people reading articles. This race won't be close, not even remotely. It will take hard work to win, though.

I hope the RNC ends up giving Clinton a bounce. But we don't know that. The polling in the next couple weeks will really tell us what direction this election is going.
