Tim looks so happy to be there that he can't sit still! He is enthusiastically clapping, waving, grinning, etc. as she relates his biography. What a contrast to the frozen held-hostage look of Pence!

I wish she would refrain from shouting at all of her events.

I do not say that because she is a woman. I said the same thing during Trump's acceptance speech. He kept shouting at me and I hated it.


Actually, as I type this, she is starting to talk in a speaking voice. It makes SUCH a difference.

Look how good she was in one of her very first interviews in 1992, when she explained how much she loved Bill Clinton. She did it in a very matter of fact, calm, convincing manner. That is how she should orotate on the campaign trail.

Taking you up, holding tension, then down to rest and appeal to your tender emotions, then back up and guiding you to a crescendo. It's a great art. She's getting better. I watch The Donald flog people like they're horses hitched to his chariot, assign as he hears the smallest relaxation going back to an emotionally-stoked cliche, and I know how horrible the end result of that is.

I just hope she has it perfected by the end of the convention and gives the best acceptance speech since Obama 2008 or better.

Public speaking is very hard. I say that as someone who has a job that requires me to do it A LOT. I will readily admit that I am not nearly as good at it as Hillary is. But I just see little things she could do better and I want her to be her very best. I believe in her and I think she says all the right things. I just know how shallow and dumb many people are. They will only listen to the "tone" and not the words.

For example, Cruz has amazing tone... but man his words are filth. Nobody could vote for him if they were listening to the WORDS he was saying.

I guess, I really like her tender moments more than her crescendos because they seem authentic to me. I guess I'm one of the few people who honestly thinks she is a warm person and comes off best when portraying that.

I think she's a warm person too. Frankly I think she worries about that woman-as-weak stereotype that men don't have to deal with in the political arena.

This was a good roll-out. I'm happy!

I think she is getting better. It must be very difficult to judge volume and pitch when the audience is screaming.

My mom is a hardcore republican who is sadly voting for Trump. (I am trying to convince her others, but I can't.) And she claims to hate Hillary, but even she has stated many times how much she admires the way Clinton looks. She even told her hairstylist she wanted to have her hair cut like Hillary's and she loves the clothes Hillary picks out.

Now if I could just get her to love Hillary's policy positions.

@timkaine speaks pretty good Spanish y'all. Better than some Hispanics in Congress. And Kaine's able to switch languages pretty seamlessly.
