Tim Kaine reminds me a lot of Joe Biden.

And I think most of us here have a very favorable opinion of Joe.

Low key, amiable, down to earth, has personal beliefs but pragmatically applies them where necessary, not there to overshadow the top of the ticket.

I don't know about you but I'm fine with this partnership.

My main takeaway: He is so darned likeable!

Definitely passes the "have a beer with" and "have as your next door neighbor" tests.

In many parts of the state like to shake politicians' hands and that sometimes matters more than their agreement with candidates' positions, which may be more progressive than theirs.

At his rally with HRC, he mentions that he grew up in Kansas City, went to Rockhurst, worked in his Dad's iron-working business and most importantly? Tim Kaine is Royals fan!

You know, I thought I had heard it mentioned that he was from the KC area several years ago, but last night, after Hillary announced that Kaine was her running mate, nobody mentioned Kansas City at all....

Don't view him as similar to Biden--much less likely to say something he'll have to walk back, but less colorful.

I have to admit to still having some bad feelings about Biden's role in the Anita Hill travesty.

but he doesn't remind me of Joe Biden. There's only one Joe and he's a BFD.

After a week of listening to the losers and charlatans of the Repub party, to hear a man of principle who understands what it means to care about his fellow man is wonderful.

Loving this ticket!!!!
