I was wrong about Kaine

Until yesterday, I called him "boring" and "dull" and "uninspiring". I gladly admit that I was 100% wrong. Senator Kaine is fiery and passionate but at the same time calm and folksy. He really is like a slightly more soft spoken Joe Biden. Positive and friendly but looks like he could shiv you with no problem, all with a smile on his face. He is the quintessential opposite of Donald Trump. Excellent choice!

I knew Kaine the least...but OMG he just
won me over big time. That man is all heart,
guts and smarts. Can't wait for our convention,
The campaign, and victory!!!

How about the BEST person?

I said even before he spoke yesterday this was a brilliant move by Hillary Clinton.

Glad she is looking at more than racial litmus test in making her decisions.

I'd have liked Merkley or Liz to be honest, but I am also practical enough to know that while I may like JM better, Kaine was the better overall choice. Merk, Liz and others can keep banging away in the Senate.

I was pretty upset when it seemed to be a guarantee yesterday that he would be the VP nominee. I was particularly upset with him not being as progressive as others that she overlooked. No, I didn't want Elizabeth Warren to lose her established role in the Senate.

Now I have recovered and regained enthusiasm and hope, particularly since he now stands against the TPP. It is very nice to learn that he is a good man.

MSNBC 4th bloc with Ari Melber is talking about the things you may not have known about Senator Kaine.

I'm floored! He was the first person to give a speech in Spanish on the Senate floor (it was on immigration). He's a national spelling bee winner and rock star playing the harmonica. Set aside his incredible record and accomplishments, this guy is GOLDEN!

but having seen his speeches since the announcement ... and having had a crash course in his background ... I see that he is a WONDERFUL choice.

We Dems are lucky in that we have so many good potential nominees - both for Prez and Veep.

But right now, I believe that Kaine is exactly the person at exactly the right time to complement Hillary on the Dem ticket in 2016.

I am thrilled about the decision and very excited about the events of this coming week!

Once again, Hillary hits it out of the park.

And the Governor had the crowd hanging on his every word. The more he talked, the louder the applause got. A lot of people weren't sure about this guy, but five minutes into the speech I was hooked. Started smiling. I think we have a winning team here.
