Journalism? We don't need no stinkin' journalism!

On the internet tubes, it is clear that the dump of hacked DNC emails came from Russia VIA WikiLeaks.
On TV, the emails are simply "from WikiLeaks".
Is it asking too much for SOMEONE to accurately source the dump and then ask if perhaps Mr. Putin is trying to insure that the next US President is a narcissistic idiot?

I don't believe a word of those emails - there is no validation, no journalistic follow through.

There's no proof he's Russian government, is there? Just innuendo? I'm asking honestly here. I wouldn't be surprised if it was true, but there isn't any proof, is there?

Here in Illinois, we go to sleep on some winter evenings when the ground is clear. When we wake, the ground is covered with snow. We conclude: "It snowed while we slept."

We don't add "But, that is just innuendo." We also "jump to the conclusion" that hoofbeats mean horses, not zebras.
