You're overlooking the fact big PAC money came into states like MA to help elect Warren-- which we applaud.. and help defeat xtian extremist Mourdick in IN and Akin in MO.

Citizens United isn't going anywhere.

Michelle Bachman spent 12 times what her opponent did and came within 1% of losing her district.

Money only goes so far when you're selling pure crap as tasty candy. Without the constant barrage of FAUX propaganda and Super PAC money, some actual facts could get through.

The kind of ground game that Obama played was not only great strategy, it was sincere and that generates word of mouth, FREE publicity.

DEMs NEVER have to spend as much money to win as the rethugs do (good thing, because we never have as much TO spend) but most people don't want to be bought in the first place. They want to elect someone who will run the country so they can live their lives in relative peace and stability.

Take away the ability of corporations to buy the media and exert undue influence, level the playing field and DEMs will continue to win.

The other thing is that overturning Citizen's United can affect money going towards lobbying efforts as well.

and he talks about the Citizens United case and how the conservatives manipulated the case in order to get a broader ruling than what should have been done if the FEC had lost their case. Technically the case should have applied only to Citizens United or non-profit groups rather than everyone and their dog.
