I won't miss Ben Nelson, and Kaine should be more active than Webb.

So I look at this as effectively being a 5-seat pick-up. And really, Warren's strength of personality is worth two other Senators, so it feels more like a 6-seat pick-up to me. This is a big change in the Senate.

Now we need to work on the House. The GOP is turning into a local, not national party. Unless they make big changes they will have a lot of trouble winning the presidency. But they are doing great with Governorships and legislatures, and that is how they control the House -- by Gerrymandering. It is another 8 years before there is an opportunity to redraw districts. We must get into a better position at the state level by then.

and ask about the 50 state strategy ...... the demographics are brutal
