I took my Obama yard sign down this morning...

...and, today being trash day, I walked down and placed it in my dumpster at the end of the driveway. Looking around, I noticed that most of my neighbors still had their Romney-Ryan signs still up on their yards.

Well, for me, the election is over and there's no need to gloat (that, or have my house egged!).

And will proudly put them back out on January 21st...the start of the second term!

What a long way we have come. I am so tired of having to live in fear of bullies!

3. I am gloating

In my life, I have never gloated over a victory. The victory itself does that. But this time I have to gloat.
I'm sorry but this president, in my opinion, has been so disrepected from the other side that they deserve to be gloated at. Even in victory idiot Trump -- showing his true non-american colors-- complains about how Obama won by the electoral college and not the popular vote.
Well, Donald, in the end, the president did win the popular vote -- so take that. And if you are so concerned about the popular vote where were you in 2000?

You know, I actually tweeted that very point to Donald Trump last night. Haven't gotten a response yet...

Mine is the only house on the block with campaign signs. At first I was worried about that but it was all cool. My black, Jewish, gay and straight neighbors are all good progressives.

that had been mercilessly fucking with me for months. I picked the most egregious offender and planted that sonofabitch right in front of his desk before he got in.

Here's my post from last month talking about what I've been dealing with.

and he emailed me mercilessly during the early evening last night, taunting me. Then his emails slowed down. Then they stopped. Then I went to bed with a big shit-eating grin, letting my silence speak volumes and my yard sign delivering the closing remarks.

14. UPDATE
Wed Nov 7, 2012, 03:28 PM
Nov 2012

He took the sign, stood in my doorway, told me I had "ruined the country" and then threw my sign on the ground. He walked away for about 1 nanosecond, came back, took the sign, said "I'm putting this where it belongs" and threw it in the dumpster out back. Then he went back to his desk and pouted. I walked by and winked at him.

the house! It is more about ME than it is them. Plus I will probably have to look at the HUGE Romney signs that the campaign put around the city for a long time.
