Thank you DU

I just wanted to say that I am so glad I found DU in the last weeks.

When I was panicking about the polls, there was always a calm voice here to debunk the bad polls and give a realistic state of the race.

When I was so stressed about the 3rd debate that I couldn't watch it, I could constantly refresh the 'Latest Threads' to get a play by play.

When I was tired of canvassing and wondering if it was pointless, somebody here would be so enthusiastic that I would get up and go again.

When I thought I shouldn't do another donation, a post here would be so encouraging that I found it could afford it.

Posts here introduced me to Nate Silver - so wonderful.

DU was a place I could send family and friends when they were fretting about the election.

Even last night, I did not watch TV until the concession speech, DU kept me up to date on the election and all the senate races.

I am so happy that my county and my state went to Obama!!!! There will be a big grin on my face this morning as I drive to work through the streets that had rows and rows of Romney signs yesterday. Bonus was legalizing marijuana!
