Twelve years ago tonight, I addressed this convention for the very first time.

You met my two little girls, Malia and Sasha – now two amazing young women who just fill me with pride. You fell for my brilliant wife and partner Michelle, who’s made me a better father and a better man; who’s gone on to inspire our nation as First Lady; and who somehow hasn’t aged a day.

I know the same can’t be said for me. My girls remind me all the time. Wow, you’ve changed so much, daddy.

And it’s true – I was so young that first time in Boston. Maybe a little nervous addressing such a big crowd. But I was filled with faith; faith in America – the generous, bighearted, hopeful country that made my story – indeed, all of our stories – possible.

But you can include one in your tweet. And then when other people click on that hashtag, they will see your tweet.

To see your own tweets, if you're on a computer, you have to go to your own profile and click "Tweets and Replies" at the top to see all of them. If you're on a phone, just go to your profile and all your tweets and replies will be listed.

but I didn't see it on the hashtag #HomeGrownDemagogue. but it does show as sent on my own page at as you under "tweets".

Can't understand why I can't see it when I go to #HomeGrownDemagogue and see other tweets.

Twitter has tweets sorted at the top of the page into "Top Tweets" for popular tweets and "Live" for the live feed of ALL tweets under that hashtag. The default is "Top Tweets", so you have to click on "Live" to see them all. If there's a lot, you'll have to scroll and scroll until the time when you posted yours.

To tweet to an account, to make sure they or anyone following the account sees it, the protocol is @thataccount. So, @realDonaldTrump places your tweet where Donald and every follower of Don sees it, and anyone doing a search. If you call him a #HomeGrownDemagogue, you'll get lots of blocks from his followers or muted.

because he/she only has like 15 followers. If you really want to get the word out, go through the hashtag, hover over people's names, and send anyone with more than 1000 followers a polite tweet with the url and ask them to RT. That's what I did with #TrumpTreason and #ComradeTrump, and I got some good RTs, including someone with 33k followers.
