Mocking Trump is a brilliant tactic.

Want to get under the orange-hued skin of a home grown demagogue? Use mockery and ridicule.

I enjoyed Tim Kaine's impersonation of the orange yam and I think it will get better as he hones it on the campaign trail.

Keep it up Tim. I like your style.

It right back to them. Tim is the perfect candidate for drawing those sharp contrasts with Trump. Big heart lifetime of service high intelligence compassion. Sometimes I am floored by the depth on our side vs. The shallowness of their side.

with a thin-skinned bully. It is so easy to provoke him into a melt down. He can dish it out, but he sure can't take it.

The man is the thinnest skinned person I've ever observed. He's a classic bully who can dish it but can't take it.

5. It's a media magnet!

The media can't resist that stuff so it's the clip being played over and over. Marco tried it (mocking Trump) and it almost worked but he got in the gutter with Trump. He got the attention but it wasn't the kind of attention.

Kaine's brilliance was he mocked him but used serious lines about taxes, etc instead of penis size. Now the media is replaying it and replaying it and the issues Kaine wants to stress are getting actual airtime.

Yes, by all means mock him. Hillary can't do much, she has to maintain the high moral ground, but surrogates can do it effectively. But still, we can't get back at him by using the same tactics he uses. That's the old saw about wretsling with pigs, you get dirty and he's still right at home. I can imagine Hillary saying, casually along the way, well if he can't handle my friends comments, he's not all that strong is he? I haven't even started on him.

The Kaine speech was great, especially the "believe me" segment. Repeating it several times, and then culminating with the crack about his taxes was brilliant. He should use that one often, over and over.

Bloomberg was an eye-opener. Criticism from a 'billionaire' kind of says what the NY "elites" really think of the guy.
