He has been trying to get people to wakeup for 40 years and now that they are starting to see what he has seen I do not think he will sept down.

start to win more seats. I can't imagine he would leave if he felt the next generation wasn't yet in place to fight on.

And to those who suggest primarying him or running a Democrat against him, good luck with that. Last time it was polled his approval rating in Vermont was around 80%.

steps down or the Sanders Institute interferes with his ability to hold his Senate seat. You can't have an "Institute" without fund raising, and how long before his 'perpetual' fundraising violates some Senate ethic rules.
